Roles and responsibilities of Work Package 7

Work Package 7 (WP7) will be responsible for the development of an e-health training portal for the training of prevention managers.

Based on an internet/multimedia approach, the e-health training portal will be an innovative method of implementing the training curriculum and certification developed by WP5.

The e-health portal will be based on a modular learning structure which involves minimal face-to-face instruction and a portfolio of extensive online study material including interactive case studies, reading material, tools of self-assessment and clear assignments.
Additionally an internationally accepted credit system will be implemented so that the credits earned in the qualification for the prevention manager can be accredited for CME (continuous medical education).

The e-health training portal will be internally and externally reviewed before being tested in a pilot study of acceptance and practicability with a number of medical professionals in Europe.
